Gay goose

According to Mr Peryer, it is not uncommon for geese to be bisexual, though he adds that the duo were the only pair in the Waikanae Estuary to mate with the same sex. It is also not unheard of.

Thomas (c. –72 – 6 February ) [1][2] was a goose who lived at the Waimanu Lagoons in Waikanae Beach, in the Kāpiti Coast District of New Zealand's North Island. He had a relationship with a male black-feathered swan, Henry, for approximately 18 to 24 years until a female swan, Henrietta, joined them.
